Summer Village Roads

Road Protection
Trucks are not allowed to travel on Summer Village roads at their full axle weight.
During spring break-up (usually April to June) there is a 50 percent road ban. This is standard for the surrounding area. The remainder of the year the road will be at 75 percent of the truck axle weight.

Road Use Agreement - completed form to be submitted to RoaData

Speed Limits
Maximum speed is 30 kms per hour.

ATVs and Snowmobiles
Recreational vehicles are allowed on Summer Village roads. Helmets, registration, insurance and plates clearly visible to the rear of the vehicle, are required. Rules of the road must be obeyed. Drivers must be a minimum of 14 years of age. Do not operate in a park, or on municipal land (April 1-October 31)

Boating Restrictions

Pigeon Lake is a great place to enjoy watercraft.
Please be aware of the 10 kilometer per hour speed limit within 100 meters of the shoreline.
This is unique to Pigeon Lake as many other lakes require the 10-kilometer speed at only 30 meters from the shore.
Buoys are usually placed at the 100-meter mark to help boaters estimate the distance

Community Standards

Fireworks are prohibited in the Summer Village.
Chemical fertilizers and pesticides/herbicides are also prohibited.
Dogs must be on a leash and under control when they are off your property.
