Long-time Silver Beach resident Howard Irving passed away on January 29, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Howard was well loved and respected by his many friends and neighbors at Silver Beach for his many contributions to the summer village. In 1954, the second bylaw ever introduced in Silver Beach was to appoint Howard as the Secretary-Treasurer to the summer village and his subsequent contributions to our community spanned six decades.
