  The Association of Summer Villages of Alberta wants to recognize each of the 51 summer villages.You can help them out. If you have a picture of family or friends enjoying the lake back in the "good old days" please email it in to us. Be sure to provide some details of the picture. The date and the location would be great information to pass along.

 Spring Road Bans are off! The normal 75 percent truck axle weight allowance is in effect

The fire ban for the Summer Village of Silver Beach has been lifted Effective 12 pm on June 1, 2018. The Summer Village thanks residents for their cooperation during the fire ban, and as always encourages residents to practice responsible burning.

This is notification under Section 336 (1) of the Municipal Government Act that tax notices were sent to all property owners in the Summer Village of Silver Beach on May 31, 2018. If you have not received your tax notice, please contact the Summer Village Office at (780) 389-4409. June Boyda, Chief Administrative Officer

The Summer Village is under a TOTAL FIRE BAN. For details, please see attached order.

Get ready for Spring Cleaning. On the May long week-end, the Summer Village will supply two large bins, where residents may put their garbage. It is for residents use only. Here is the 2018 Garbage Collection Schedule. Note that weekly pickups start April 30, 2018.

Road restrictions for heavy loads on village roads, will begin April 1, 2018. Loads must be 50 percent of the trucks axle weight allowance.  This restriction will be returned to the normal 75 percent, and posted on the website,  after the spring thaw is complete
